Introducing my pride and joy. The Calling of St. Catthew is inspired by the old baroque masters of the past, and the meme culture of the future. Caravaggio’s The Calling of St. Matthew is brilliant, dramatic painting depicting its scene from the bible. By replacing each figure with a dumb little pop cat, a sense of silliness envelops the piece, and suddenly, humor and seriousness fight for control on the canvas.
